Retouching Stephi

Recently I photographed my friend Stephi in my home studio, the whole plan was to practice studio and lighting techniques. Luckily I shot 2 days before and was pretty much set to go, the only difficulty I had was the model from before was almost a foot taller than Stephi so I had to move stuff around.

I wasn’t to worried about the lighting, but more about the editing since I haven’t really found my own style yet. After photographing Stephi I was trying to play around with her images and after a couple of days I found some thing I really liked. Even though its not the best skin retouching(i didn’t do the hairs on her neck.haha), I’m pretty happy how the whole image came out.

Besides skin retouching another new technique I used on this photo was removing the stray hairs that are always flying around. Luckily Stephi enjoys working out so I didn’t have to worry about modifying her body, but wish I could say the something about my wrinkly backdrop.

I haven’t finished editing her photos yet but here is one more.
